Ms. Houchins currently manages several condominium resorts located on the beaches of beautiful Okaloosa Island in the Florida panhandle. Her involvement in the community includes leading an active group of local citizens seeking solutions to homelessness in the area, promotion of tourism for the community through marketing and event planning and assisting the local military services via her involvement in the USO.

Vice President

Mr. Gieseman is the Chief Executive Officer of White-Wilson Medical Center and is well recognized within the health care industry. He is active in the community and has served as Chairman of the Greater FWB Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Okaloosa /Walton County United Way, and Vice President of the Mental Health association of Okaloosa/Walton Counties. He currently serves as a Director of the University of West Florida Foundation and Vice President of the FWB Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Kenneth Haskin, M.D. Kenneth Haskin, M.D.

Dr. Haskin retired after 17 years in the White-Wilson Internal Medicine Department and a total of 30 years of service to the community. He is board certified with the National Board of Medical Examiners and American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Haskin received his Medical Doctor degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Haskin serves on the White-Wilson Medical Center Board of Directors.

Jack Azzaretto, PhD Jack Azzaretto, PhD
Immediate Past Chairman of the Board

Dr. Azzaretto holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Northeastern University, an MA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, an MPA in Public Administration, and a Doctor of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Dr. Azzaretto served our country as a Lieutenant in the US Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is a professor of Professional and Community Leadership at the University of West Florida where he teaches courses related to public and nonprofit administration and has a particular fondness for the field of Administrative Ethics, having given numerous presentation on practical and professional ethics. A national leader, Azzaretto is a frequent speaker at national and international forums that focus on educational outreach, continuing education, workforce and economic development.

Janet Niemi Chubb, PhD Janet Niemi Chubb, PhD
Outreach and Education Committee Chair

Dr. Chubb, an Assistant Professor at the University of West Florida teaches leadership and management to graduate nursing students. Dr. Chubb is a healthcare leader with 15 years experience as a CEO in the private and public sectors. She has 15 years experience as a health educator and consultant having academic appointments to the Medical College of Georgia, the University of North Georgia, and Spring Hill College. She has been active in numerous civic and community activities, serving on the Boards of the American Red Cross, Safe Homes, National Association of Psychiatric Treatment Centers for Children, Five Points Rotary International, Mobile Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Professional Advisory Committee of The Joint Commission, and Sigma Theta Tau International. Dr. Chubb holds a Doctor of Health Science, Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Nursing, University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Idaho State University.

Andrea Loder, M.D.
Dr. Andrea Loder is a board certified pediatrician who has been caring for children in community for almost 20 years. Dr. Loder received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University and currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at White-Wilson Medical Center.

Ray McGovern Ray McGovern
Mr. McGovern is a Senior Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and PIA Program Portfolio Manager with Merrill Lynch. In 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 he was named in Barron's annual ranking of the Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the United States. He has served on the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center Advisory Board, the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center Board of Directors, the Northwest Florida State College Foundation Board of Directors and is involved with many charitable organizations throughout the community.

Bob Perry


Bob Perry
Bob is the General Manager of Destin Commons and has held that position since February of 2009, nearly nine years. Bob is active in our local community having served on the Boards of the Emerald Coast Foundation, Rotary Club of Destin, Resurrection Catholic Church and the Destin Chamber of Commerce. He will be the Chairman of the Destin Chamber for 2018.

He has managed shopping malls and strip centers ranging in size from 100,000 s.f to over 2.0 million s.f., including properties in Atlanta, Birmingham and St. Thomas, USVI. Property Management is his second career after spending the first 15 years out of college in the oil and gas industry.

Bob and his wife Bonnie have been married nearly 39 years and they have three grown and married children and four grandchildren and they currently reside in Miramar Beach.

Diane Winnemuller is the regional publisher for the Northwest Florida – West region of GateHouse Media, LLC which includes the following newspapers and websites; the Northwest Florida Daily News, The Destin Log, The Walton Sun, The Crestview News Bulletin, The Santa Rosa Press Gazette, and destination websites, and Diane possesses over 30 years of multi-media experience in newspaper, radio, television, direct mail and digital media. She relocated here from North Carolina where she was the publisher of the Asheboro Courier-Tribune for more than six years. She is married to husband Duane and she has two adult sons; one in Colorado and one in Arizona.
