FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — March 9, 2018 — The White-Wilson Community Foundation will host the 6th Annual Run for the Health of It run/walk on Saturday, March 24th at 9 a.m. The event features 5k and 8k distances, as well as a 100-yard dash for kids 6 and under.

Participants will take off from AJ's Oyster Shanty located at 108 Santa Rosa Blvd in Fort Walton Beach. After the race, participants will enjoy a post-race party featuring great music, food and beverages from AJ's Oyster Shanty.

Advanced registration is $25 for adults and $20 for under 18. Day of registration will be $30. This fee includes a race shirt and a swag bag. The children's 100 yard diaper dash/fun run is $10 for children 6 and under and each participant will receive a medal.

Proceeds from the event will support the White-Wilson Community Foundation in its mission to make this community the healthiest on Earth. The non-profit works to identify community health needs and provide educational and life-changing services to underserved populations.
