WHITE-WILSON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION HOSTS 7TH ANNUAL RUN FOR THE HEALTH OF IT

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — April 24, 2019 — The White-Wilson Community Foundation (WWCF) hosted the 7th Annual Run for the Health of It 5K & 8K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 23, 2019. More than 180 runners and walkers enjoyed a scenic run along Okaloosa Island followed by an after party at AJ's Oyster Shanty.

Participants enjoyed delicious food and beverages provided by AJ's and were treated to music by Jacob Mohr while awards were distributed to the top 3 finishers in each age category. The race was a great success, getting community members active, promoting the importance of a healthy lifestyle and raising funds to help advance community health. All event proceeds will provide health services and education in the local community.
