FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla.—September 4, 2014 — The White-Wilson Community Foundation will play host to the 28th Annual H.C. White Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 26. The long-standing event has supported local causes since 1986 and is one of the most anticipated charity golf tournaments of the year.

"This is one of the longest-standing golf tournaments in our community, and we are honored to carry on the tradition through the White-Wilson Community Foundation," said White-Wilson Community Foundation Vice President, Alan Gieseman. "The tournament is a continuation of our commitment to honor Dr. White's legacy of health and service in our community."

This year, proceeds benefit the White-Wilson Community Foundation and provide valuable health and education services to the community. The four-man scramble style tournament will be held at the Bluewater Bay Resort and begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served prior and the tournament will be followed by an awards reception.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and individuals, as well as teams, are invited to participate. For more information on the White-Wilson Community Foundation and to register for the tournament, please visit www.whitewilsoncommunityfoundation.org.
