FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — November 25, 2016 — The White-Wilson Community Foundation hosted the H.C. White Golf Tournament on Friday, November 11. Team of golfers took advantage cooler weather and scenic views at the Bluewater Bay course for the 30th annual event.

This longstanding tournament was formed to honor the legacy of Dr. Henry C. White. Dr. White was the founder of White-Wilson Medical Center, and today, the event proceeds support the White-Wilson Community Foundation. This year's event raised over $9,0000 to support the nonprofit's mission to make the community the healthiest on Earth.

In honor of Veteran's Day, Dr. and Mrs. Jack Azzaretto, Hurricane Wings and Okaloosa Gas sponsored teams of deserving veterans so that they could also take part in the fun. Food was provided by Golden Corral and Hurricane Wings, and beverages were provided by Helen Back Cafe. Presenting sponsors included Henry Schein and White-Wilson Medical Center.

All event proceeds will go directly to supporting White-Wilson Community Foundation in its efforts to meet community health needs, fill gaps in care and educate community members on the importance of preventive care.
